ConceptAn idea of how something is, OR how something should be done
The story behind the creativity
Concept Flowers was born in 2012, with a mission to provide the freshest of flowers, the best of knowledge, and a world of choice.
It was named as such, because of what the word concept means:
“An idea of how something is, or how something should be done”
Ensuring fresh, forward thinking, innovative approaches, resulting in every client being cared for as uniquely as they are.
Over time Concept Flowers has grown into a Multi Award Winning Floristry Business, with an excelllent reputation, and have been honoured to be the Dorset Wedding Florist of choice for a staggering number of brides to be throughout the whole of Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and beyond.
Proving that hard work, perseverance, skill and ultimately passion is what really makes a good florist.

Meet the team
-Creative Director & Founder of Concept Flowers.
Multi award winning master florist (yep, that’s right there is such a thing as a masters degree for floristry but you gotta work hard for it!)
I’ve also got a few Chelsea flower show medals to my name, and I’ve been a florist since the age of 17… I’m proud to call myself a #realflorist.
Concept flowers has been my baby for the last 8 years and since meeting and marrying Martin it’s now become our business.
I’m the face behind the scenes and the creativity.
When I’m not in the studio- which is rare- you’ll find me catching up on sleep, cooking or enjoying a coffee …. I mean Gin…
-Accounts and production assistant.
Not only does he know how to make a bouquet and the difference between stocks and phlox, he also gets hands on with helping to set up the florals for our lovely bride and grooms wedding days. But the most important thing is that he helps keep our accounts in check
When he’s not working he’s out on his motorbike, playing computer games, or watching F1.
oh! and he’s lucky enough to be married to me
–Human Resources & studio security.
Our most demanding team member.
1)He will try to make you hold his horn
2) He will try to sit with you
3) He will require fuss and attention
BUT we wouldn’t be without him.
He’s a 100mph, beach loving, squirrel chasing, couch potato, and When Bruce is away from the studio he’s usually with his grandad (his other most favourite person)
